this is so great, i've been wanting to van life for almost 10 years, but just never had the money for it.

The biggest mistake noticed to pretty much everyone owning a living vad is using wooden furniture.There are alot of other durable lightweight options which saves gas and puts less pressure on the van maintenance

yes any flooring will need to breath and putting that kind of flooring in a vehicle that also has temperature differences but also flexes when driving it is going to have issues later on. as for size myself i dont think I am that big but being 6'2" ( 186cm) large framed and about 230 Lbs( 104Kg) is apparently big so that means large sleeping area which means full size van at least lol I used to have a 4x4 full sized 1978 doge ram which had a canopy on it and a rubber mat on the floor a 4x3 piece of plywood on the top on the box lower part of the canopy that I could slide around use as a table for me that was my vehicle I had a kit bag with some cloths and camp stove fuel and a few other necessities so that when ever I wanted to all I needed to was grab my coolers and fill up and go be gone into the backwoods or a few weeks maybe longer only to come out to resupply or when I had to head back home for work I loved doing that now days every place has people and people around so I dont do it plus the fact that actually finding a vehicle like that with a full length box plus fully manual transmission for a decent price are like finding a unicorn hat was the 1990s . if i could find such a vehicle I would just bring my futon mattress with me lay it on the deck so that I could roll it up into a mini couch every day

Finn looks absolutely identical to our dog we rescued in Los Angeles. It’s uncanny how similar they look. Literal twins. Even more interestingly we named him Prismo after adventure time.

Instead of watching van life videos, check out some boat building/repair videos. Your van is more like a boat so look for materials that they use

I dunno why i'm here, just got too much time, but you mentioned your temperature and some people can use that to pinpoint location if they can guess out what time roughly you made video. just be safe and share less than that with fans

It's good to plan out where everything will be in advance, many put a shower below the maxfan w/ regular shower curtain, square pan & drain on bottom. Also you need tin insulate walls for cold weather & a few solar panels on roof would be good. You're doing a great job doing so much on your own!

I just found you. I think your right on target and since I am leavingin september to do my channel you give good info. keep it up and never give up/ I always think on the obstacles that might be ahead when I wake upand yes take a break and change things up. I also get claustrophobic since I work out of my bed room. I am a bay top seller but that is coming to an end in a few months . I will keep watching you for sure .
